Aug 14 Update: Masking and Spacing Update
NEWS BULLETIN
MASKING AND SPACING
We will, as we have been doing for months, continue to spray the clubroom, washrooms, horizontal surfaces, doorknobs and touch places etc., on an hourly basis. (75%/25% IPA and water)
In the range we will continue spraying all surfaces, horizontal and vertical normally touched by shooters, as well as switches etc. before the range is opened, and will respray any position, once vacated after a shooter is finished with their shooting session, and, before the next shooter enters that position.
Masks are required at all times in any area that is accessible to the general public, (City of Calgary Face Mask Bylaw) this means the clubroom, washrooms, (and annex, when it is open to the public) (matches etc. as necessary).
AND NOW THE GOOD NEWS
After a meeting with an AHS inspector this past Monday:
ON THE RANGE, WE NO LONGER HAVE TO WEAR MASKS WHILE IN THE LANE, AND SHOOTING!
This means if you are between the yellow and black lines, in any of the 10 shooting lanes, engaged in shooting, masks are now optional.
Behind the yellow line, masks are required.
Masks are required, if you want to visit with someone, while in a shooting lane (you're closer than 2 meters).
Masks are still required on the range, if you are guesting a shooter, chaperoning a shooter, or coaching a shooter, or, any other activity that requires closer than 2 meter spacing.
HAPPY SHOOTING
