CRPC 2025 Benchrest Rifle Festival

 
When – Saturday Feb.22, 2025, 9:30am – 2:30pm at CRPC.

What is it?

“Benchrest” – a specialized rifle shooting sport exhibiting the highest degree of accuracy.
“Festival” – a special time or event when people gather to celebrate something.

Want to try something new???

Why – a reason to bring like-minded club members together for a day of learning and fun on the range. Maybe your body is telling you it no longer wants or is able to do your “regular” shooting…

Who – any CRPC member 18 years of age and older.

What to bring – your rifle (rimfire or airgun) with scopes or iron sights, your ammo, and a great attitude.

This is an introduction to the sport of Benchrest Shooting, which will be conducted in a very relaxed social atmosphere.

This is NOT a competition.

We will start the day with a healthy dose of coffee, donuts and muffins.
Instruction on Rules, Targets, Rifle weigh in.

“Bring what you got” for a rifle - bolt action, pump action, lever action, semi-auto etc.

Lunch will be provided.

Opportunity to try different equipment – rifles, scopes, tables, front and rear rests.
Kelly McGarry, CRPC member and accomplished Benchrest shooter will provide live demos.
We Will learn together.

Cost is $25 per person, payable at the event.
